The SentrySafe SFW205GQC protects your important documents, digital media, and other valuables from fire, water, and theft. Dual digital lock with key, solid steel construction, pry-resistant hinge bar, and live locking bolts keep your items secure in the event of a break-in. The SFW205GQC also offers ETL Verified water protection and UL Classified fire protection for your irreplaceable items.

Rated 4 out of 5 by J Sin from Good safe I like this safe because it has a 2 locking system (Key and Combo). It is a nice size for my needs. My only problems are this--- Sentry should let the buyer choose their own shelves, This is my 2nd safe in this model. I did not want a deep shelf so I had to buy the right size shelves for me, costing me more money. My first safe was dented and out of square. It was usable and I did not want to nit-pick on the dent because it seemed to work fine. The 2 bolts they included were not good enough and caused my unsquare safe to be wobbly no matter how tight I made the bolts. So I needed 4 of them. Sentry should include 4 bolts.

Opened up the User's Manual and proceeded to learn my new safe. It was exactly what I needed for the task at hand. Con: When reading the manual please have your tech writers check the steps needed to operate the safe. As an example, under "Unlocking Your Safe", For Dual Key/Electronic Locks Only, insert key into lock, turn to "unlock" position to open... My safe was already unlocked. You need to scrub the steps in the manual to ensure they "flow" for the reader. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoy the safe. Appears to be very well made and should withstand the advertised elements and conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RR888 from Just what I expected This product is exactly what I needed. Sufficient space and easy access. I bolted it down to the floor in a corner so it is going no where. I have seen the YT videos with the handheld devices to reset it to factory codes but they do not include the key in that video (extra protection). To take a diamond blade to cut the safe up is not what people who break into your home would do. The handle is plastic but it is fine. These are features which make the safe reasonable in costs. I purchased extra shelves which I am glad I did. Nothing is perfect but if you are looking to protect your valuables this is the safe for you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MIkemenn from BIG AND BADA**! Seems to be a capable fire/water proof safe for our needs. Tis quite heavy so get assistance moving it around. Programing new code is simple enough. Like that they included desiccants. Our last Sentry Safe got moldy smell real fast. This safe is "easily" broken into by a thief who knows its weaknesses (see online videos), but that's not why we got it. We wanted to keep documents/media safe from fire/water. The combination/key system is to keep children and other prying eyes out. Comes with 2 drawers. Wish it came with a shelf, too, as there is room. I'm sure I can buy one. Just seems like it could be added cheaply. I like the internal light. That helps. Could be bolted to the floor, but you have to drill holes and that breaks the water seal so that's not for us.

Lots of room and the interior is configurable with different accessories (although all I have at the moment is the file drawer and shallow drawer it came with. My only complaint is that the key doesn’t work like I thought it would. I expected to be able to use it instead of entering a number to open the safe. Instead, unlocking with the key simply allows you to enter numbers. Locked means you cannot enter the numbers. Oh well.

When my safe arrived and I removed it from the box there was no paperwork or materials of any kind, and it was locked and wouldn't open. I called the number on the sticker attached to the front of the tape and the number was no longer valid. So I got on the company web site and called the customer service number. After being on hold for 1 hour and 45 minutes I got a human being who put me on hold for another 30 minutes and then told me he has emailed me my combination. After 4 hours passed with no email I called again. On hold for 1 hour and 5 minutes to be told they hadn't sent the email, but would. Finally received the email and was able to open the safe, but alas no paperwork. Wow! Good product, non-existent quality control and customer service.

Rated 1 out of 5 by John68 from Pointless if it won’t even open with the code I don’t know how this safe has an average rating of over 4 stars unless sentry safe paid a lot of money for fake reviews. It took me five tries and some force to open it the first time. Now I can’t even open it. The safe also came with a dent in the upper left corner even though the box was unharmed. That tells me how carelessly it was overlooked and placed in the box before shipping. Please save your money and buy a different safe.

Rated 1 out of 5 by asm1 from Both arrived locked with keys inside I purchased one safe and it arrived with the door closed, locked, and I assume keys inside like the manual states. I requested a replacement safe and just received a second in the same condition. Either I am missing something or someone is playing a trick. Perhaps the keys need to be taped on the outside to prevent this from happening. I am an owner of two older SentrySafes which have given me no problems in the past 10 years. Lastly, no customer service on the weekend? I work long hours during the day and have an hour commute.
