The SentrySafe Digital Water and Fireproof Safe SFW082ET provides reliable protection for important documents and valuables. Digital lock, pry-resistant hinge bar and 4 large, 1-inch live-locking bolts safeguard your items against theft. Feeling Better When I Leave My House
Safe is easy to use and quick to open in a hurry. This Safe has a Tray for keeping documents separate from main storage area where they can lay flat so that they do not take up much volume and remain un-creased. This model has a really nice weight to it, once I bolted this unit to my foundation a serious piece of machinery would be needed to extract without the combination. The seal on the door seems very solid; I hope I never have to find out but it looks like it will stand up to fire and flood quite well. If you need a Safe that has the ability to be secured to a structure and removed for transport; this one comes well recommended.

GOOD SAFE FOR THE MONEY
I like this safe it is strong and well built with good ratings ... The only thing I can question is the quality of the handle on the digital keypad it seems a lil flimsy ... ALL IN ALL for the $$ a very nice safe ...

Didn't Honor their Word
the safe seems fine but your customer service is not fine... i was told in no uncertain terms when i called customer service that the bolts were included in this model.. when i called to point out that the bolts were not included i was curtly told that this model didn't include the bolts. i would not have bought this model without the bolts. your representative apparently made a mistake by telling me that they were included (check your phone records!).. it's not my fault your rep gave me the wrong info.. i asked you rep to honor what i was told originally and they would not do so.. really? i will never buy another sentry product again... you don't seem to care about meeting the needs of your customers

Regarding Safe Design Flaw and Resulting 100K Loss
I am writing to express my serious concern and to file a formal complaint about a significant flaw in the design of SentrySafe - SFW082ET that I purchased from your company in August this year from Home Depot. Regrettably, this flaw has directly resulted in a burglary at my residence, leading to substantial financial loss and personal distress.
On Dec 9th, my home was broken into. 2 burglars with Ski Mask, Black Hoddie could effortlessly access the safe, which contained valuables and cash amounting to approximately $100,000. They entered my home at 6:48 PM and Exited at 6;50PM. 2 minutes take out everything and leave. It has come to my attention that on the instruction the safe has a factory-set code that cannot be altered or removed. This default code is known to individuals who read the instructions and install the safe, as the burglars used it to open the safe without any signs of forced entry. So during the installation. the worker who installed the safe requested to read the instructions to properly mount the safe to the wall. He read the instructions and understood the factory code is permanent and may have taken a picture of the factory code in the back of instruction. He then tipped off his bad guy friend who directly broke into my house and stole everything from the safe in seconds. They know they can open this safe, so this safe becomes a time bomb for Bugarly. The consequences of this incident have been devastating for me, both financially and emotionally. My cat was really scared during the burglary and went to look for us on our street. The loss of such a significant amount of property is distressing, and the feeling of vulnerability and invasion of privacy has been deeply unsettling.
My Neighbor was there 5 minutes after the break-in and the police arrived 10 minutes after break-in. However due to the design flaw. the safe become an attraction for burglary since people who installed it can easily open it in any other later days despite we changed the code and left in seconds. we don't have enough time to react to the situation. A safe should buy us time to defend our property. This SFW082ET simply does not do that.
I am requesting Immediate steps to rectify the design flaw in the SFW082ET, ensuring that future customers do not face a similar risk.

Finally have access to valuables
I got this for my wife as. Valentine day gift. She had a bunch of jewelry that we had to keep stashed away from thieving hands in the attic - not accessible. Now we have this safe in our closet bolted to the floor. So now the jewelry is only a code away. Safe is well made and perfect for our needs

The safe had been closed and never open with money and documents stored inside for at least 4-6 months. When opened all documents was mildew smell and wet.

New Safe: No Code. No help.
I purchased the sage a year ago, never opened the package/box. When I did, there was no manual and when I called to get a passcode to open the safe, I was provided a code that did not work, still. I contacted customer support to be told to check my serial number and the coded I was provided was accurate. Well, it's not and I have to contact them again to resolve. This should not be difficult to remedy. Oh, and I risk being charged a passcode-reset fee, too. What a mess just to get into the safe for the first time.
