Love the Digital Keypad
The Sentry Safe Fireproof and Waterproof Safe (FPW082FS) is very well made with three automatic steel locking one inch bolts and a pry proof hinge bar. My favorite part is the digital back lit key pad. You just put in the factory code and pull the metal handle and your safe is open. I’ve always disliked the combination dials and find the digital safe so much faster and much more convenient. The safe also comes with an adjustable shelf and a key rack on the door. You can use the safe with the code from the factory or up to 3 secondary five digit codes of your choosing.

Love it
We got the Fireproof and Waterproof Safe a few weeks ago and it's great! I like having the confidence and security of having our valuables and non replaceable items tucked away safely in the case of flood or fire. The safe seems to be sturdy and very secure, made from high quality materials. I like the digital keypad for entry as well so that I don't have to worry about keeping up with a key. It was very simple to program and I like that it came with a base code that will open the safe in the event that I forget the one I chose. It has an adjustable shelf inside to accommodate for different sized items and hooks on the door for safekeeping of keys and other hangable items. It came with clear, precise instructions on how to mount it to wood or concrete so that you can secure it in your space.

Well built, I can recommend it.
Looks good so far. Well built. I took one star off due to the lack of an internal light. But more so for the fact that I will need to open the safe to “dry it out”. It seems that the design incorporates some sort of built in moisture if I understand it correctly, which is probably part of the design. It makes it a bit of an inconvenience to open it once a week or so to make sure my documents don’t get damp. I would have preferred more of a lock and forget design. This is rather awkward.

Great safe
I feel like this is a good safe for your firearm, important documents and others. It is an hour of fire protectiong and upto 24 hours of 5 inches of water protection. Its heavy duty and can be a great safe for the family. It 13.7"x18.8"x16.4". It also digital and comes with a default passcode where you can add more passcode to open the safe. It's bulky yes but easy to open once you have the right passcode and can be really easy to use. I highly recommend this specially for its quality!

Don't store anything needed in emergency
Had my safe a little over 30 days. Had been working fine. Then in an emergency when I had to access documents inside, the door would not open. I entered code and had the green lights indicating I entered correctly but door would not budge. Being a weekend there was no support available from MasterLock but was directed to JustAnswer website. In order to get the answer I had to pay a fee of $54. USD. All they did was send a copy of what is in the safe's owner manual which I already tried. Being an emergent situation where I needed to access these documents I had to pay a locksmith $275USD to come out and literally destroy the safe. This is more than I paid for the safe!! Of course you can't talk to a human when you call Masterlock. Each time I have called wait time is15 minutes!! I am still waiting for a return call.

A great product to safeguard valuables!
This fire- and water-proof safe is wonderful, giving me peace of mind knowing our jewelry, valuable paper documents (passports, wills, car titles, marriage certificate, birth certificates, Social Security cards…) and hard drives are protected, especially when we’re traveling. I no longer need to pay for a safety deposit box! The safe is super easy to use, with an easy-to-read, lit keypad. While the safe comes pre-programmed with a 5-digit code (that can’t be deleted), we were able to program our own code. The safe is big and holds a lot, and the adjustable shelf allows us to organize the contents. It is heavy (55 pounds) and seems to be extremely durable. It was incredibly well packaged. The safe came with stick-on pads that I stuck on the bottom of the safe so that it doesn’t scratch my floor. And batteries were included! A great product to safeguard valuables!!

Good features and easy to use
This safe has good features and it is easy to use. It’s small so it is easy to find a good place to locate it. I’m using it only for documents because there is not much room for anything else. It protects against Fire and Water with is perfect for documents. Very easy to setup a personal code. Don’t loose the paper manual with the factory code as you will need it if you forget your personal code or to reset it
