I have had to key open and remove and re insert batteries to get the code open function to work. Not what I want to trust if I need to get this safe open quick in an emergency.

Unfortunately the gas strut wore out very quickly causing me to have to put something down in the crack to lift up the lid after I unlocked it. That extra step and extra time it takes is dangerous in a life or death situation!
