Rated 1 out of 5 by Mayhem1328 from Will RUST. Clearly a manufacturer defect. AVOID THIS SAFE! It will rust! We’ve had this safe a few years - love the look and the blackout digital display. However - this safe started RUSTING on the backside right at the upper rubber grommet. The size of the rust is about 4 inch in round diameter and so soft you can push your finger through!! Despite being in dry Colorado and the safe never moved from its closet location. Clearly a manufacturer defect that went unnoticed on the backside. CS - tells me it’s out of warranty - here’s a small discount on a new one. Really? This didn’t rust overnight. Rust like this goes on for years. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else. Or you’ll be paying 500.00 every few years. Moral? Check your safes backside often.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Stranded customer from a lock box that won't unlock I purchased this to replace an older Dial combo model . On mine the digital keypad no longer responds ... and there is NO physical keyed back up ! so my belongings ended up being locked inside and unretrievable . Absolutely ridiculous . After no help from customer service , I paid a locksmith to cut mine open with a die grinder which literally took 5 minutes to open . He said that these safes single handedly keeps him in business . He said " don't call them safes , call them Fire and Water resistant lock boxes . He said the metal is no thicker than a file cabinet on every side except the door . Literally in 5 minutes mine became landfill . Sentrysafe as a company ? they never responded to my emails as well as my messages through the retailer I purchased it from . Absolute garbage product and company .

Sentry cannot help either and told me to find a locksmith. Really? There is absolutely no other way to get into this thing once the electronic board heads fails.

Rated 1 out of 5 by BMas from Cheaply made and does not offer replacements When removing the battery cover for the first time while setting the safe up the tray on the inside of the door broke. It is only held in by cheap plastic tabs. Contacted Sentry and they do not offer replacements for the cheap easily broken components even for brand new, day old products. Poor quality safe and about the same quality service.

Rated 1 out of 5 by BJH2 from total failure! I've just had it 6 months, and it has failed. My possessions are locked inside, and the locking solenoid has failed; so I'm unable to open it. Master Lock customer support has been unable to help me. So far, I've been unable to find a locksmith who will open it, though one tells me he has encountered this problem before with SentrySafes. Trying to solve this emergency has taken a huge amount of my time, and it is still unresolved.
