Rated 1 out of 5 by Buyers Remorse from Not secure the hinges are on outside Damaged when I opened the box, two big dents, himges on outside are easy to brake into.. and No key, doesn’t keep documents safe from water as well. The seams are broken where it was damaged, being I live away from the place purchased I do not have time to return this to office Depot in anchorage alaska. Before leaving for a job, remote in the oilfield. I am so disappointed in the money spent almost 300 with warranty

Rated 4 out of 5 by SeattleRain from Good safe, just a little too small for my needs The safe is easy to setup and feels very sturdy. I had no issue creating our own code to get the safe open. My only issue with the safe is that it doesn't fit a 3-ring binder with our full trust documents when laying the binder down. I am able to fit the 3-ring binder when I stand it up like a book, but then I cannot use the interior shelf feature of the safe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by The JoeP from Safe learning curve. I found the safe to be as advertised. I had some confusion about the key which it turns out is a "secondary" lock. Meaning if you use the key to lock, you must first unlock before the entry code will work. Not a bad idea actually. The other problem I had was with the batteries. The combination worked sporadically. I was informed that I should use only the Energizer brand battery. I replaced the batteries as suggested and the safe works perfectly.

Directions were easy to follow and allowed us to quickly setup two different codes for access. The free warranties to cover the contents of the safe and to replace the safe if ever in a fire are incredible and can't be beat. I definitely recommend this safe to my family and friends.

The inside dimensions stated are not correct for all areas and there is only a small area that I can use because the door takes up some of the space. Also, please update your owners manual to clarify which batteries are required, This caused a great deal of problems for me.
