Rated 5 out of 5 by ddhmax from Top Notch Safe SentrySafe is the perfect safe for me. I really like the keypad that lights up when I punch in the unlock code, which comes with the instructions. There is also two physical keys to use if you can’t use the keypad for some reason. When I open it, I was happy to find led lights facing inwards to see inside the safe. There is a small battery compartment inside to replace the batteries if they ever go out. This is rated for 1700° fire. That’s awesome! It’s also not too heavy, but has some heft. Nobody is going ti be running off with my new safe unless they are super strong. I am beyond satisfied with my new SentrySafe!

After I started investing in precious metals I've been looking for a place to store them and this is now my own personal bank vault. Having a keypad that lights up is a game changer when keeping it in a place where you hope other people wont find it. Think of it like the hotel safes that are in most rooms when you travel, like that but way nicer. If you're looking for a secure place to keep your things with solid waterproof and fireproof ratings, this is it! I love mine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Tped from Flawed safe Great little safe, but there are a few flaws. There are two battery compartments, the man one being inside the safe itself. That's fine and dandy as there is a backup battery compartment on the outside. The flaw of the outside compartment is that the battery itself can't be stored inside the housing, the battery is left to dangle until the inside main batteries are replaced. What I feel could be another flaw is that the opening handle is opened using a cable. In time I could see that snaping from use and then the safe being rendered useless.

Love that it has a lithium battery that has a 5 plus year lasting time, so not having to keep up with replacement batteries. Digital keypad that lights up when touching. And having two keys just In case I forget the code. As a backup. It's water and fire proof. And has a shelf and key rack. To help keep things organized. Has a good weight. So would be hard for anyone to just pick up and steal. Overall very happy with this safe. Great quality.

It is very durable, I accidentally dropped it while moving it and nothing happened to it, everything worked just fine and there were no cracks inside or outside. The safe is compact but very spacious, I have more than enough room for sensitive documents, emergency money, and jewelery. It holds more than you would imagine. We do keep a firearm inside as well and feel safe with it being in this safe. I love that they provided 2 keys with the safe incase there's no time to use the keypad, you can also silence the keypad incase of an emergency.

However I dislike the battery compartment placement being inside the safe itself. The door handle to open the safe uses a cable that I can see snaping overtime due to use and the backup battery which is outside of the safe if you had to use is anything but ideal as the battery is left dangling because it can't fit into the battery housing.

It has a number code on the front to set that makes it really easy to open when you need your documents. I am able to keep my family’s passports, housing documents and other important documents. It is fireproof, so that gives me peace of mind knowing my documents will be fine if a fire were to start in my home.
