It is big enough for the documents and items we wanted to secure and size is adequate. Doesn't take up too much space in the closet where it is located.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ArtSomer from Elegant Super Safe for my purposes Based on receiving it, "installing it", and having it for a month, this 100% serves my purposes. First, be warned and be prepared, it is VERY heavy when delivered to your front porch or door. By sliding it on an open carton, I was able to get it to my pretty secretive location. The controls work very well. Mine is in a location where I cannot stand right into front. The push button number entry works great and in my opinion is far better than using a dial like an old fashioned safe. The user manual is excellent - but one big caution I don't know how to well solve: on the back cover page of the user manual, the manufacturer has pasted the override codes to open it. IF you keep that manual around your house, anyone who gets the manual and turns to the back cover can know how to open your safe. Following their guidance, I bought a big bag of dessicant and I plan to replace the one or two dessicants now in the safe every several months. Apparently, moisture is a concern, so pay attention to their guidance to open the safe every couple of weeks to let any moist air escape.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DJM1 from Disappointing Worked fine when I first received it. Used keypad 5 or 6 times over the past 35 days. Now door won’t open using keypad. Batteries are new. Must use key override to open and close. Lock mechanism is loose. Not worth the $700CAD paid, and can no longer return via Amazon as it’s beyond the 30 day return window.
