The Privacy Lock Fire Chest 1210 is UL Classified to protect your valuables from fire damage for up to 30 minutes at 1550°F. The 1210 is small, compact and equipped with a carrying handle for all your security needs.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by Coach GK from Lasted only a year This was a good product while it lasted. The plastic handle piece could not hold the heavy body. I was carrying the safe to a table and the handle came off!!! Good thing the body didn't fall on my foot or on the table.

The only thing that holds it together is some chalk thats packed into 2 little plastic pieces and they broke. Basically don’t buy this if you intent to open the safe frequently. We used it to store money but it’s no good. They won’t even replace it either.

The hinge is nothing more than a quarter of an inch of plastic. Cracks have also formed around the outer part Of the box

Upon returning home from vacation I found my Safe open and pain mngmnt meds gone. With no damage or signs of tampering I relocked the safe and tried to see if I could unlock it w/o the key. First attempt w just the tip of a steak knife opens the safe easier than the key.

Within 5 mins he managed to pick the lock with a paper clip. Definitely not secure, or safe as advertised if a kid can get in without the key... Took it back to the store but couldn’t get a refund.

I wouldnt be surprised if other products are made with the same fragility. Contacted customer service. They informed me these are made to protect against fire and water but not theft. Then whats the point of a key?
