Rated 5 out of 5 by NeteR from Awesome Safe I really like this SentrySafe with Dial Combination and Override Key. It is sturdy, fireproof, and waterproof so I know my valuables are protected. This safe is really good quality too. After being locked out of one of my other safes, I love that this has an override key. Also this design helps to keep my items organized with its shelf and key hangers. I’m a big fan of this safe and love that SentrySafe has created a customer website to document your safe combo and other important info. I am highly impressed and definitely recommend this safe. I tried to upload some photos for y’all but was unable to but this safe is stylish!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cj4199 from Disappointed in this safe SentrySafe has always been my go-to when it comes to protecting my valuables, however, this time I cannot recommend this new safe. At first glance the safe looks great and is very heavy which gives the false sense of security. The outer shell is plastic and the combination lock is plastic which feels very cheap and makes it hard to turn. Upon opening, I noticed that the "Steel bolts" were flimsy and I could easily bend them as the only thing holding them in place is a plastic shell that is attached with screws. I removed this plastic and the inside locking mechanism is very cheap and it appears the safe is made out of plastic and a hard material that was poured into the safe, there doesn't appear to be any steel to offer any actual protection. The slots where the bolts go into is made out of plastic and could be pried open pretty easily. This seems to be a budget model but for the price it isn't worth it. Unfortunately I won't be using this safe as I don't feel it’s as secure as other safes made from SentrySafe. I tried to attach photos but it is giving me an error.

We were looking for a medium sized sage that housed a good amount of items without taking up a ton of space…we needed something sturdy, heavy, fireproof, and with a key and coded entry….we found it! This safe even comes with a shelf in it that can come out if needed. The door has three strong locking mechanisms to keep it from being broken into. This fits perfectly in my closet space and I’m not worried about the contents getting messed up in the event of natural damage. My photos wouldn’t load!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kmath from Solidly built safe that is water and fire proof The Sentry Safe large capacity combination safe is a solid safe that has an adjustable inner shelf, is pry resistant, has key hooks and a pocket door. I have been wanting a solid and safe combination safe as I live in a hurricane prone area and this safe fits the bill. I have placed all of my important documents in this safe with plenty of room for even more items. This safe is super solid and very heavy and just what I was looking for in my home. Please know that this safe is VERY heavy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Waiting 4 reimbusrement from No good I’m surprised they asked for a review. Tested the combination and key and it worked fine. Locked my valuables. 1/2 hour later it would not open with combination or keys. Sentry sent new keys - still wouldn’t open. A lock smith got it open for $305 and said the lock had a “catastrophic failure” I’m still waiting for a refund and also the promised $250 to cover the locksmith. So I spent $ 55 for nothing assuming I get reimbursed.

Nice size to keep a number of things that I dear to my heart and don’t want to see them destroyed or worse stolen. Water and fire proof and as I bonus an override key to help in case of an emergency. Definitely a must to register it so you are able to retrieve you combination. Great features by a well known company. Thank you

Its steel construction, capacity, and locking mechanisms are superb. I like that it has an hour protection against fire for up to 1,700 degrees Fahrenheit. This SentrySafe safe offers me the peace of mind that I was looking for.

The combination took me some time but I was able to open it. The key is inside the safe. The combination comes in the booklet. Good quality open closed, and locks well. Protection FIRE -1 Hour Protection up to 1700° and Water-24 Hour Protection in up to 5 in of water. Overall great safe!!
