Rated 5 out of 5 by Breven from Waterproof Safe at a Reasonable Price I was looking for a fireproof safe for the home and chose this unit. It has features that are found on other safes that cost much more. It's fairly heavy at about 90 pounds and has plenty of room for my needs. The dial combination is factory set and can't be changed. The combination code and the key ID# can be stored on their web site when your register the product. Two items to be aware of: 1) At delivery, make sure the unit was not damaged in transit and 2) The key is not meant to override the combination lock; it's a secondary lock in conjunction with the combination lock.

Rated 1 out of 5 by daniel clingaman from terrible product run away wish 0 star was an available rating i bought it on amazon when i moved in march then it sat in the box for 3 months. I finally had time to set it up i opened it one time with the combo and then was never able to get it again. I sat on the phone with support and they basically just talked to me like i was an idiot and told me to follow the exact instructions that i was in the same sequence i was using and nothing worked he then tole me to put a book on the door because the seal probably needed compressed so i would get off the phone and he would be off the hook. I have seen many similar reviews but sadly not until after i bought it, please save yourself the time and money unless you're looking for a massive paper weight to hold down your papers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Daprez546 from Just What I Needed I purchased this safe to store and protect the many and various documents relating to my life, to my possessions, and to my business, such as titles to cars and deeds to some homes. This applies to my documents and to those of the real estate clients with whom I deal. Water is not a threat where I live, but wildfires certainly are. This safe is substantial enough to withstand the threats my location presents. It simply looks and feels like the stalwart defender it is advertised to be. I only wish it had come with more shelves for my documents.

You could not open it. There was something jammed so I ended up returning it and I don't think I would purchase another one from them.
