      Rated 4 out of 5 by cyclingtk2 from Just “OK” After purchasing I read the reviews, I would agree with the opening issues. Although I was able to reset the combination and worked ok. However, the lock itself doesn’t turn easily and the lid itself is a struggle to open- it sticks and had nothing to grasp to actually pull the top to open. I’d say it’s just “ok” for what I need the lockbox for but if using on a daily basis, constantly struggling to open the lid would get super annoying and frustrating

      Rated 4 out of 5 by Go Irish from Combination re-set I had to call customer care to help change the combination as the suggested lever would not move. They suggested I take it back to the store. I did not, I put it aside and used some WD40 on the lever, let it sit for a day and then used a pair of pliers to move the lever and it moved and I set my new combination. Now I'm trying to use it without anything in it for a few days/times - opening and closing it with my new combination and it seems to work. I'll put my valuables in it soon and hopefully it will still work! Time will tell......

However this one my boyfriend set the new code and it has never has opened ever since. After reading the reviews this seems to be an ongoing issue and seems like there is defect happening. Unfortunately he bought it like six months ago and just put it up and I just found it & the manual recently - it was exactly the size and style I’ve been needing and I my wishful thinking had me convinced that he must have just made a mistake trying to set the new code or something it would be something that would be easily fixable once I read the directions but that was not the case. It will not open at all. I just really wanted to write this review to warn others to not waste their hard earned money, especially since it seems to be a common issue with this model.

      Rated 1 out of 5 by shellysshelf from Lock Doesn't Work Set my own combination and tested to be sure I could open. No problem. Second time I attempted to open it, it would not open. I now have a safe that is permanently locked. Just glad it is empty and not tethered in a hotel room somewhere. It is too bad because otherwise this seems to be just what I was looking for. Compact. Lightweight. Steel.
